Dr Timothy Olaniyi Aluko holds a PhD in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. A Research Fellow in the Department of Management Accounting at the University of South Africa (UNISA), recognised for my contributions to inclusive finance, SME development, and public sector reform.
With over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience, has led high-impact research and supervised numerous postgraduate students. Have published over 25 peer-reviewed articles and an academic book titled “Evaluation of Small Business Support in Post-Apartheid South Africa” by Palgrave Macmillan Springer. His expertise spans development finance innovation, academic leadership, and research, with a strong focus on integrating theory with practical development solutions, finance, and public policy that drive small enterprise growth, strengthen financial inclusion, and foster entrepreneurship, while advancing sustainability within the broader field of economics.
